Dialysis Catheters

Dialysis Catheters offered here are artificial indwelling transcutaneous conduits that are used to access the intravascular space or the intraperitoneal space for renal replacement therapy (RRT). The catheter used for hemodialysis is a tunneled catheter because it is placed under the skin. The catheter contains two lumens: venous and arterial. Although both lumens are in the vein, the arterial lumen, like natural arteries, carries blood away from the heart, while the venous lumen returns blood towards the heart. They are used to access peritoneal space to instill dialysate fluid. The Dialysis Catheters are suitable for use in the various medical procedures.
